It was a pleasure to take part in the 27th Annual Charles River Earth Day Cleanup!

Plumbers have always been stewards of our most precious resource: clean water. The PCA and Plumbers Local 12 know just how important clean water is, not only for our trade, but for our communities. That’s why it meant so much to see our Contractors and members out there, rolling up their sleeves to help protect one of Boston’s most iconic rivers.

Protecting our water resources has always been at the core of what we do. That’s why we’re advocating for legislation to promote gray water reuse and rainwater harvesting, replace lead pipelines, and remediate PFAs contamination. All of these initiatives will help keep our waters safe for future generations.

Thank you to the Charles River Watershed Association and the Massachusetts Rivers Alliance for getting us involved with their cleanup efforts. And a big shoutout to all the volunteers who came to lend a hand.
