It was great to visit Quincy High School’s (Quincy Public Schools) Plumbing Shop this week and present a check to support their outstanding program. A huge thank you to the Joint Labor Management Cooperation Trust for providing the funds to make this possible. The PCA and Local 12 have been supporters of the program for years and it has been an honor to be part of their initiatives.

Special thanks to Mayor Thomas Koch (City of Quincy) for joining us on this visit and his steadfast support of Local 12 and PCA contractors. Thanks also to the shop instructor Chuck Hannaford, and Guidance Counselor Brendan Cunningham for all the amazing work they’re doing with the students. Thanks as well to Jim Bent from American Plumbing & Heating for all his contributions to the shop’s Plumbing Advisory Board.
