It was a pleasure to present three outstanding students from Somerville High School’s (Somerville Public Schools) Plumbing Program with the Greater Boston Plumbing Contractor’s Achievement Award at their 2026 Vocational Awards Night!

The PCA has been involved with the program’s revival over the last few years and has been fortunate enough to have graduates join Local 12 and our contractor member companies. Each award, a packout bag full of tools, will make sure they’re ready for their first day on the job.

A big thank you to the plumbing shop instructors, James McGrath and Jake Peterson, for all their great work with these students. Congratulations to all the graduates and these future plumbers!
