It was a pleasure to spend the day with students from Madison Park’s Plumbing Shop (Boston Public Schools) at the Waterworks Museum (Waterworks Museum Events).

Students had a chance to tour the museum and do some exercises making their own pumps from recycled bottles. We also had a great conversation about what a future career in the plumbing industry can look like and apprenticeship opportunities with Local 12.

A big thank you to the museum staff and shop teachers for helping organize the visit. And the students for bringing so much energy and excitement to the day.
